C3_Teacher Training Course in STEAM Education on digital tools and robotics in Albacete, Spain.
The teacher training ends with the course held in Albacete, at the IES Ramón y Cajal, coordinating partner of the “STEMAction for the future” project. The importance of using digital tools and robotics in the classroom is essential in STEAM, which is why during these days we have trained in it through a robotics course taught by Mr. Antonio Cano, high school and university teacher. , Expert on the subject.
The contents developed have been:
• SCRATCH programming:
o Basic fundamentals of programming.
o Drone programming workshop.
o Didactic applications.
• Programming with ARDUINO:
o Basic Arduino board fundamentals.
o Programming with ARDUINOBLOCKS.
o Simulation of electronic circuits with TINKERCAD.
o Didactic applications: Arduino board programming.
• Programming with AppInventor:
o Basic fundamentals.
o Design and programming with AppInventor.
o Educational applications: creation of Apps.
Presentations of “Good Practices” related to STEAM have been made. This training has been complemented with the collaboration of the University of Castilla-La Mancha, with robotics workshops, a visit to the I3A, and a visit to the Castilla-La Mancha Scientific and Technological Park. In addition to various visits, such as the one made to our city, Albacete; as well as the City of Sciences in Valencia, visiting its splendid science museum. It has been a very intense week, but it has been worth it for the great learning we have had.
